INTERNET SAFETY

DO NOT POST PERSONAL INFORMATION ONLINE!

  • NO ONE should ever have easy access to any of your personal information!
  • Some sites may ask you to post personal information which means anyone and everyone will have access to your personal life.
  • You should NEVER put your full name, phone number, home address, or any other personal information on a web site for the general public!
  • Do not post "blogs" or any other facts about yourself that you do not want strangers to read.

Cyber-bullying

Cyber-bullying is using any type of electronic device and the Internet to bully and harass.

What to do if you are a target:

Do not ignore it. Seek help from a trusted adult or authority.

Do not reply to messages from cyber-bullies.
This may only serve as encouragement for the behavior.

Show it to your teacher, counselor, or parent.
