CHARGE Robotics Team
The CHARGE Robotics Team is a competitive group that works with volunteer professional engineers to design, build, and market an engineering project as part of the FIRST Robotics Competition. This joint group with students from Lenape High School meets to raise funds, maintain a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, build and program robots to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. It's as close to "real-world engineering" as a student can get. No experience is needed, but students should be highly motivated to learn and work as a part of a team. Technology Student Association
Technology Student Association is a national organization of students who enjoy applying their technological skills. Cherokee's chapter focuses on completing various technology projects during our meetings throughout the year. Cherokee's Technology Student Association also focuses on completing projects for the New Jersey TSA State Competition held every spring at The College of New Jersey. It is recommended that students are enrolled in technology education classes at Cherokee. This club requires an activity fee.

Media Tech Club (Chief TV)
The Media Tech Club (Chief TV) is open to all students interested in learning more about news and television production, filming, editing, and other post-production techniques. The club assists LDTV Sports productions; Chief TV productions such as our live news program, Good Morning Cherokee; and our award-winning news program, Chief TV. Chief TV also produces content to air on LDTV and keeps the community informed of the amazing things happening in Cherokee.

Aeronautics Club
The Aeronautics Club is for students with an interest in the study, design, and manufacturing of air flight capable machines, both manned and unmanned, and the techniques of operating aircraft and rockets within the atmosphere. Some activities include: meetings, learning about the basics of flight, building models, and field trips to airports and aviation museums.
