“Entering Cherokee, I had a set idea of what my future would look like. However, the past 4 years at Cherokee have guided me to having an open mind towards the future. I've experienced so many new things from interesting classes, diverse activities, and amazing teachers and mentors. Each new moment has helped me to improve upon valuable skills and build unique experiences, ultimately reshaping my passion and the way I approach personal growth.”

Activities: Charge Robotics, Unified Robotics, Project Lead the Way, DECA, Aeronautics Club, Asian Culture Club

Community Service: Through robotics, I volunteered at various outreach events and programs to help inspire younger kids to pursue and find their passions in STEM in the same way that I was able to. I have further volunteered at the Unified Robotics program that was recently introduced at Cherokee. Over the summer, I was part of a program called Go Baby Go, which modified toy cars for young kids with motor function disabilities. It feels fulfilling knowing that I was able to give back to the same community that shaped and guided me toward my future goals.

Post-Secondary Education: University of Pennsylvania

Major: Mechanical Engineering

Career Aspirations: I hope to work at an aerospace firm that helps to connect people and society through faster air travel.
